Does resizing lose quality?
Downscaling generally looks excellent. Heavy upscaling softens details because the browser interpolates missing pixels — avoid enlarging beyond ~150%.
What does locking the ratio do?
Changing one dimension auto-adjusts the other so the image never stretches. Uncheck it to distort deliberately.
Can I keep transparency?
Yes — export as PNG or WebP to preserve alpha channels. JPEG has no transparency support.
