About this tool

PDF to Images renders each page of your document to PNG or JPG using pdf.js with your chosen scale factor — from web-friendly 1× up to print-quality 4×.

The rendering canvas lives entirely in your browser’s memory. Pages are zipped locally with JSZip when there is more than one result, so nothing is uploaded anywhere.

FAQ

PNG or JPG — which format?
PNG is lossless and ideal for text and screenshots; JPG produces smaller files suited to photo-heavy pages.
What does the resolution slider do?
It sets the render scale. 1× matches roughly 96 DPI, 2× is great for screens and sharing, 3–4× approaches print quality at larger file sizes.
Very large PDFs feel slow — why?
Rendering happens on your device’s CPU. For big documents give it a moment, or convert in smaller batches using page ranges.
